Grandine

This package provides Grandine, a consensus client for the Ethereum Beacon Chain, packaged for Ethereum on ARM.

Services

This package installs systemd services for running the beacon node and validator client. The services are disabled by default.

  • grandine-beacon.service: The beacon node service.

  • grandine-validator.service: The validator client service.

Configuration

Configuration arguments are defined in the environment files located in /etc/ethereum/.

  • /etc/ethereum/grandine-beacon.conf: Configuration for the beacon node.

  • /etc/ethereum/grandine-validator.conf: Configuration for the validator client.

You can edit these files to customize the arguments passed to the Grandine binary.

Data Directories

By default, this package stores data in the ethereum user’s home directory:

  • /home/ethereum/.grandine-beacon

User and Group

The services run as the ethereum user and group.
